• Designed to enable participants to better understand how photography can capture and express the artist’s inner vision.
• Work in and out of the fantastic David Hoptman studio in southern Tuscany, in the beautiful area between Rome and Florence.
• Work under David’s guidance in unique terrain, with undulating hills, valleys and forests, offset by mountains populated with small villages, ancient Etruscan towns, and medieval castles. Location, location . . .
• David, from Southwest US and now residing in the Viterbo area, has 25 years of professional experience as a commercial and fine art photographer. He’s also a poet!

Daily field excursions focus on landscapes, people and architecture, complemented by class demos, printing, critiques and discussions in the Hoptman studio in southern Tuscany. Using digital or traditional film, you will experience techniques and creativity with a renowned multi-talented photographer in a timeless pastoral setting.
