| Venice is a tough shoot, particularly with the strong contrasts of bright sunlight and dark shadows just about everywhere you look, no matter the time of day. Canals are narrow and buildings overshadow them so getting images just right is a great but fun challenge. I tried my very best to find ways to capture NON-ICONIC photographs but some iconic scenes were difficult to pass up. I managed to find a few different takes on what you have seen yourself while there or in pubs/on screen. You be the judge. |

| Some visitors have asked me to comment on my work. When I set up the shots of the masks in window shots above and below I intentionally moved back from the window to introduce a glare, a technique I think adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the already present romance, intrigue, and mystique in La Serenissima, Venice. |
